Mercedes finds and fixes electrical glitch that hampered Russell for three races
Mercedes have identified and fixed an electrical energy deployment bug in George Russell's car that left him down on power across Austria, Silverstone and Spa. The issue stemmed from deeply embedded calibration code in the new power units. At Spa it contributed to a collision with teammate Kimi Antonelli, who won and stretched his championship lead to 50 points. Russell said: "It's eyes forward now."
