AMWU pushes wealth and inheritance tax plan before Labor conference

The AMWU wants Labor's Adelaide conference to back a new top marginal rate above $500,000, an annual wealth tax excluding the family home, and an inheritance tax on large bequests. Its 32-page blueprint calls the tax system rigged for private wealth. None of it is costed. Labor hasn't signed on to any of it.
