Adobe adds generative AI tools to Project Indigo camera app

Adobe's Nextcam Team added AI Playground, a generative AI suite, to Project Indigo, its experimental iPhone camera app, on July 20, 2026. Four tools — Object Editing, Styles, Photo Guidance, and Custom Edit — apply AI modifications at the point of capture rather than during post-processing. The features are free to a small fraction of users for a limited time and may become paid.
