Adobe brings generative AI editing into the camera app with AI Playground for Project Indigo

Adobe's Nextcam Team added a generative AI suite called AI Playground to Project Indigo, its experimental iPhone camera app, on July 20, 2026. Four tools — Object Editing, Styles, Photo Guidance, and Custom Edit — operate at the point of capture rather than in post-processing. The features are free to a small fraction of users for a limited time and may become paid.
