
Chip Motors Unveils $15K Low-Speed EV With Autonomy Ambitions
Miami startup Chip Motors launched the Chip, a 25 mph electric low-speed vehicle starting at $15,000. The LSV classification limits use to roads posted 35 mph or below but eases crash-testing requirements versus full-speed cars. Features include teleoperated self-parking, with Level 4 autonomy as a stated goal. Presales are open; deliveries target 2027.
