Bethesda Confirms Fallout 5 in Preproduction, Will Follow Elder Scrolls VI

Bethesda Game Studios confirmed Fallout 5 is in preproduction via its official X account. Director Todd Howard called it the studio's next focus after The Elder Scrolls VI. Fallout 4 launched in November 2015. A separate Fallout game is in development at Obsidian, with remasters of Fallout 3 and New Vegas also underway.
