Butler locks in MS drugs on PBS while review continues

Health Minister Mark Butler confirmed on 16 July 2026 that Ocrevus, Kesimpta and Lemtrada stay subsidised on the PBS — good news for roughly 33,000 Australians with MS. Butler backed the drugs on clinical grounds. The PBAC, which advises government on which medicines warrant taxpayer subsidy, is reviewing MS drug usage. Its final call is due by year's end.
