Butler keeps MS drugs on the PBS while review runs to year's end

Health Minister Mark Butler confirmed on 16 July 2026 that Ocrevus, Kesimpta and Lemtrada will stay subsidised on the PBS, ending weeks of uncertainty for roughly 33,000 Australians with MS. Butler backed the drugs on clinical grounds. The PBAC's rapid review of MS drug utilisation is due before the end of 2026, when a final decision will be made.
