Justice Department Launches Super Intelligence Task Force Chaired by Jay Clayton

The U.S. Department of Justice has announced a Super Intelligence Task Force (DOJ-SITF), chaired by Jay Clayton. The department says it aims to ensure critical SI technologies serve the American people and are not manipulated by bad actors at home or abroad. Its mandate covers shielding U.S.-based artificial intelligence (AI) technology from foreign state actors, transnational criminal organizations and fraudsters.
