Tube train drivers face eight 24-hour strikes over 16 days, six before Christmas
London Underground train drivers face eight 24-hour strikes over 16 days, six of them in the run-up to Christmas. The first begins at noon on 26 November. The RMT union, which represents rail and transport workers, called the strikes in opposition to a proposed four-day week for drivers. Transport for London says that scheme would be voluntary.
