Bluefly to shoot on Australia's Gold Coast, with its Congo story filmed far from Africa

Principal photography, the main shoot, for the science-fiction thriller "Bluefly" will take place on Australia's Gold Coast, Variety reported on 6 November 2026. Starring Russell Crowe and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the Congo-set story will be filmed far from Africa. Nimród Antal directs. No release date has been announced.
