Queen Mary of Denmark Reopens Restored Winter Room at Rosenborg Castle

Queen Mary of Denmark reopened the Winter Room at Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen, a palace museum run by the royal collections office. The restoration, running from 2024 to 2026, covered almost 100 paintings, the wood paneling and the fireplace. Built from 1615 to 1620 as King Christian IV's living room, it reopened with Queen Mary cutting a silk ribbon.
