US Supreme Court Lets White House Ballroom Work Proceed, Rejecting National Trust Suit

In September, the US Supreme Court ruled that construction of President Donald Trump's White House ballroom could go forward. The justices found that the National Trust for Historic Preservation, a US nonprofit that works to protect historic buildings, lacked legal grounds to sue. The National Trust had sued to halt construction.
