Helicopter Crashes into Biscayne Bay Near Miami, Killing One

A small Robinson R44 II helicopter carrying three people crashed into Biscayne Bay east of Miami Executive Airport on the morning of November 4, 2026. One person died and two were injured. The Federal Aviation Administration said the crash occurred around 11:15 a.m. Eastern time. The National Transportation Safety Board, the federal accident investigator, is investigating.
