Jo Koy's Netflix special ties his stepfather's Vietnam service to a Dodgers game joke

Netflix's "Jo Koy: Blue in the Face" debuted in September. In it, Koy recounts taking his stepfather, Army veteran Sgt. Fred Harrison, to a Los Angeles Dodgers game that went into extra innings. The punchline pairs Harrison's two Vietnam tours with a joke about dying at the game. Koy mimics Harrison's oxygen mask with a microphone cord to his nose.
