Champion jockey Billy Loughnane signs retained deal with Godolphin for next year

Britain's champion jockey, Billy Loughnane, has signed a retained contract to ride for Sheikh Mohammed's Godolphin operation next year, Godolphin announced on 4 November. A retainer gives a stable first call on a jockey's services. Loughnane, 20, will share the role with William Buick. He said it is "a huge honour".
