Netflix bought animated feature "In Waves" at Cannes; it opened the American French Film Festival's 30th edition

"In Waves", an English-language animated feature directed by French-Vietnamese animator Phuong Mai Nguyen, opened the American French Film Festival in Los Angeles on November 3. Netflix bought the film at Cannes, according to Variety, which reported on November 4. The festival runs at the DGA Theater Complex until November 8.
