Paris fashion label Coperni announces closure after dispute with distributor

Coperni, the Paris fashion label, will cease operations, founders Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer announced in a statement to press and retailers. Vaillant said majority shareholder Tomorrow London Group stopped paying partners and suppliers for several months. Coperni entered receivership, a court-supervised process, on 11 June. The statement did not say what happens to debts, staff or stock.
