Social media posts about your vote are banned on election day, Saturday 7 November

Posting or sharing content about your vote on social media is prohibited in New Zealand from midnight until polls close at 7pm on Saturday 7 November, the Electoral Commission says. There is no exemption for personal political views online on election day. Breaking election-day campaigning rules can lead to a fine of up to $20,000.
