St Helens chief executive Abi Ekoku to step down for family reasons

St Helens chief executive Abi Ekoku will step down for family reasons, the club confirmed on 4 November. He will return to London. Ekoku was appointed in April, succeeding Mike Rush, who had spent 27 years at the club. Chairman Eamonn McManus thanked him and acknowledged the personal sacrifices made because his family lives in London.
