Cambridge Appoints Barrister Jason Beer KC to Review Its Handling of Jason Arday Case

Cambridge University has appointed barrister Jason Beer KC, a senior lawyer, to lead an independent review of how it handled misconduct allegations against Jason Arday, its former sociology of education professor, who died aged 41. Arday denied the plagiarism accusations. The review will also examine Cambridge's recruitment and support of him as its youngest-ever Black professor.
