Young Harry Potter cast will not attend Oxford Street lights switch-on

The young stars of HBO's forthcoming Harry Potter series will not attend Oxford Street's Harry Potter-themed Christmas lights switch-on on 9 November. PinkNews reports HBO pulled them amid protest fears. A Good Law Project petition with more than 11,000 signatures calls for the display to be cancelled. Variety describes the display as a promotional tie-in with the series.
