Jon Ossoff Wins Re-election to U.S. Senate from Georgia

Democrat Jon Ossoff won re-election to the U.S. Senate from Georgia, defeating Republican Mike Collins in the November 3, 2026 election, the Associated Press reported. The win gives Ossoff a second six-year term in the Senate, which confirms federal judges and approves most cabinet appointments. Collins, a U.S. Representative, ran with the backing of President Donald Trump.
