High Court refuses to block allegations against anonymous public figure, accepting publication raises his suicide risk
Mr Justice Nicklin accepted that publication would materially increase the risk of suicide for PPT, an anonymous public figure. He ruled that protecting him was for state health services and his hospital, not a court publication ban. The Guardian and ITN allege inappropriate sexual activity with considerably younger women; PPT denies this. He has permission to appeal.
