Nvidia's DRIVE AV autonomous driving platform is now shipping in the Mercedes-Benz CLA and newer Mercedes EVs after years of development. The system combines an onboard computer with redundant lidar and camera sensors and carries the automotive industry's highest safety certification. Nvidia's automotive division competes internally with the data-center business for chip capacity, though vehicles remain a minor revenue stream.
