Phia, the shopping-extension startup co-founded by Phoebe Gates, has been suspended from Impact.com, a major affiliate network, after Bloomberg exposed cookie-stuffing fraud in July 2026. The extension was opening hidden tabs during checkout to override other affiliates' tracking cookies and claim unearned commissions. Phia confirmed the issue was fixed; Bloomberg verified the behavior had stopped. The startup has raised $43.5 million to date.
