
Murder inquiry opened after former Conservative minister Ann Widdecombe found dead
Ann Widdecombe, 78, the Reform UK spokeswoman and ex-Conservative Home Office minister, was found dead at her Dartmoor home on Thursday morning. Devon and Cornwall Police opened a murder investigation after discovering serious injuries. Detectives are seeking a white male suspect. Widdecombe served as an MP for three decades before stepping down in 2010.
