Rapper Nicki Minaj called New York Governor Kathy Hochul "an evil woman" in X posts on October 28, urging followers to vote for Republican Bruce Blakeman against Hochul in the governor's race. In one post on her official account, Minaj wrote that the Democratic Party should forfeit Hochul's seat. Billboard reported she also wrote Hochul "will not escape God's wrath."
