Princess Birgitta of Sweden's jewels, reported at seven million, planned for Sotheby's sale

Expressen reported on 27 October 2026 that jewels from Princess Birgitta of Sweden's collection are to be sold for a reported seven million. Sotheby's, the international auction house, sets the final price only when bidding closes. The collection passed to her granddaughter Carolina av Ortenburg, 28, after the princess died in Mallorca on 4 December 2024.
