BAFTA launches independent review of trustees' guest ticket perk

BAFTA has launched an independent review of a historic perk letting trustees bring a guest to its awards, Deadline reported on 29 October 2026. Three unnamed industry executives lead it. It follows concerns raised by membership council chair Michael Pritchett at the annual general meeting. BAFTA stopped offering trustees plus-one tickets in 2025.
