Australian coroner finds actor Richard Norton died after injecting unapproved peptides

Australian coroner David Ryan found that actor Richard Norton, 75, went into cardiac arrest after injecting two unapproved peptides, CJC1295 and ipamorelin, short chains of amino acids, in March 2025. Norton had told a nurse he was giving himself double the prescribed doses. Ryan recommended the medicines regulator, the TGA, review the peptides' risks and benefits.
