Ava DuVernay's 14th and Poh Si Teng's American Doctor Shortlisted for DOC NYC

Ava DuVernay's documentary *14th*, about the U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment, and Poh Si Teng's *American Doctor*, following three U.S. physicians treating Palestinian children injured in Gaza, are on the DOC NYC shortlist, Deadline reported on October 28, 2026. Both films are also in the lineup of the inaugural West Hollywood Human Rights Film Festival, running November 20 and 21.
