Inspections Found Dollar General and Family Dollar Failed Thousands of Price Checks

Government inspections found Dollar General failed more than 4,300 price-accuracy checks in 23 states over three years, and Family Dollar failed 2,100 in 20 states. Some Dollar General items were overcharged by as much as 39%. Dollar General says it aims for 100% price accuracy. The FTC and 20 states sued it on October 26.
