Getty Foundation launches US$2.7 million New Interpretations grant programme for 11 museums

The Getty Foundation of Los Angeles has launched New Interpretations, a US$2.7 million grant programme for 11 museums in the United States and abroad, The Art Newspaper reported. "Interpretation" means wall labels, guides and displays. The projects will rethink that language, make galleries easier to use and involve local communities. Grantees include the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.
