Infant Dies After Israeli Soldiers Block Ambulance at West Bank Gate

Three-month-old Ahmad Zaid died en route to a Ramallah hospital after Israeli soldiers refused to open the Deir Ammar military checkpoint blocking his ambulance. When his father pleaded for passage, soldiers responded with tear gas and stun grenades, forcing a detour on dirt roads. The gate has remained closed indefinitely since February.
