Rideau Hall Foundation has raised $5.7 million toward 24 Sussex Drive renovation

The Rideau Hall Foundation has raised $5.7 million toward a $50-million goal to renovate 24 Sussex Drive, the prime minister's official residence in Ottawa. Foundation president and CEO Teresa Marques said more than 4,000 Canadians have donated. The federal government will cover security costs separately. Carney announced the plan in June.
