Val Chmerkovskiy returns to Dancing With the Stars after one-week suspension

Val Chmerkovskiy returned to Dancing With the Stars on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, for Horror Movie Night, after a one-week suspension. The suspension followed his TikTok Story reference to Will Smith's Oscars slap, written after judge Carrie Ann Inaba criticised a lift on Super Bowl Night (Oct. 14). He and partner Jenna Dewan advanced to the Disney-themed episode.
