Apple adds beta OpenAI-built AI assistant to Logic Pro

Apple announced on October 27, 2026 that Logic Pro now includes a beta AI assistant developed with OpenAI. It can edit existing projects, start new songs and generate vocal tracks from text prompts (written instructions). It requires an Apple Intelligence-capable Mac running macOS 27 Golden Gate or later. The same chatbot is also available in Keynote, Pages and Numbers.
