Dongpeng and Mengniu end Mbappé deals after Mao meme remark

Chinese drinks firm Dongpeng and dairy producer Mengniu have terminated all cooperation with Kylian Mbappé with immediate effect, after his meme remark about a "Chinese dictator", an apparent reference to Mao Zedong. Cheese maker Milkground has announced it is ending cooperation. Mbappé has apologised, calling the comment "ill-judged". Neither brand has said whether it will return.
