Paul Farbrace, Lancashire's incoming director of cricket, told a members' meeting at Old Trafford he wants a squad capable of winning the County Championship, the four-day domestic competition, within four years. He does not believe Anderson, who turns 45 next year, will be part of it. Farbrace spoke by video from holiday in the United States.
