Cole Palmer misses Liverpool cup tie, not Manchester United league game

Cole Palmer will miss Chelsea's EFL Cup fourth-round trip to Liverpool on Wednesday night, serving a one-match ban for his red card against Tottenham. Red-card suspensions carry across domestic competitions, so the ban lands in the cup, not the league. He is available for Saturday's Premier League match against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
