Serbia's Vučić Concedes Defeat to Student-Led Protest Movement in Parliamentary Election

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić conceded defeat on Sunday to the student-led protest movement in the parliamentary election. Speaking in Belgrade, he said: "We still do not have final results... it is clear that we have lost these elections." The early vote followed two years of protests over a 2024 railway station canopy collapse that killed 16 people.
