A petition to save Mass Effect has passed 187,000 signatures, according to Eurogamer, which reported on 25 October 2026. Joe Smith started the #SaveMassEffect petition on the day BioWare closed. It calls for continued development with proper funding, staffing and time, and suggests Electronic Arts could license the IP to another studio. Electronic Arts owns BioWare.
