Nintendo shuts down Mario Kart Tour with no offline option

Nintendo is discontinuing Mario Kart Tour on September 30, 2026, seven years after launch. The mobile racer will be unplayable once servers close — no offline version exists. From August 5 onward, all remaining players receive free premium content through shutdown, removing the game's paid monetization in its final weeks.
