Nintendo is shutting down Mario Kart Tour. Here's what that means.

Nintendo is closing down Mario Kart Tour, the mobile racing game, on September 30, 2026. Once the servers go offline, the game stops working entirely — you won't be able to play it at all. From August onward, Nintendo is giving away all paid features for free until the shutdown.
