Street Fighter's Chun-Li keeps her fingers after Capcom objected to finger loss

Chun-Li will keep all her fingers in the coming Street Fighter movie, according to actress Callina Liang, who told The Hollywood Reporter on 23 October 2026. An earlier script had her cut off a finger as an initiation into Shadaloo. Capcom objected to the loss. The compromise is a Shadaloo mark branded on her inner palm.
