Pangram checker flags unpublished manuscript against a forum post and a pirated book

In September, a writer ran an unpublished manuscript, a draft not yet published, through Pangram's Similarity & AI Checker. The tool flagged two lines as close to other writing. One matched an online forum post; the other matched a pirated book hosted on Notability. Both were common phrases, not full copied sentences, Publishers Lunch reported on 23 October 2026.
