Banijay Entertainment Aims to Expand U.S. Scripted Production

Banijay Entertainment, formed by the merger of Banijay and All3Media, aims to be more active in U.S. scripted production, chief business officer Frédéric Balmary told Variety on 23 October 2026. Scripted means shows built from written scripts. He linked the push to Netflix's stated search for more U.S. hits, made on its last earnings call.
