In Muhammad Mustapha's Big Boys Don't Cry, Cairo bouncer-bodybuilders pick villains as dream roles

"Big Boys Don't Cry" follows Cairo bodybuilders who work as nightclub bouncers. Asked which acting roles they would like, Abdullah Al-Araby and his friends all chose villains and mob bosses, according to a Variety review published 23 October 2026. Director Muhammad Mustapha spent 10 years making the docu-fiction hybrid.
