RUN X World Treadmill Championship starts in 20 countries, mixing everyday runners and elites

The inaugural RUN X World Treadmill Championship, a World Athletics-sanctioned 5km treadmill race, began on 23 October in 20 countries, hosted at 400 fitness centres. Everyday runners and elite athletes compete in age categories from 18 to 75+. The 10 best men and women in each category reach the world finals in Cesena, Italy, on 20-21 March 2027.
